The Basket Challenge is a campaign that encourages Canadians to think twice about the amount of food they waste on a daily basis. The idea is to use a basket instead of a cart in order to limit weekly groceries. Angela DeMontigny is an Aboriginal fashion designer based out of Hamilton, Ontario. Her designs are sold in boutiques and galleries throughout North America and Europe. This assigned project focussed on the United Nations International Year of Crystallography, and required a stamp and package design (First Day Cover with a cancellation mark).
Discovery highlights the accomplishments of some of the scientists who have made advancements on medical research with the help of crystallography. BitterSweet – a creative collaboration between the Cambrian College Graphic Design 2014 graduates and the people of Sudbury, ON. From February to March 2014, the public shared their bittersweet encounters with Sudbury. Inspired by the responses, the graduates designed a series of posters for the 2014 class exhibit.
